• Network in Anderson County having issues

  We are working to repair the issue that is occuring in Anderson County. This part of the network is currently offline.

• Tower in Midway hit by lightning

  1.17.2012

  A tower in Midway was struck by lightning in the storms today. We anticipate the repair to be completed Wednesday. UPDATE: As of 2PM Wednesday there are no outages at this time.

• Tower in Mt. Eden hit by lightning

  A tower in Mt. Eden was struck by lightning in the storms today. Because of the instability in the weather we will likely not be able to fix this immediately. As soon as we have clear weather, we will get this situation fixed. We will post back here once an update is available. UPDATE: The fix has been completed as of 2PM EST.

• Anderson County Buildout

  The Anderson County buildout is complete utilizing the South Anderson Water District's water towers. If you have been waiting for service in these areas, the maps have been updated to reflect our existing coverage.

• Upgrading Bandwidth

  We are upgrading the bandwidth on the links to Todd's Point and Northern Shelbyville today. There will be periods of intermittent downtime while this occurs.

• Major Outage due to Fiber Cut

  We experienced a major outage due to multiple fiber trunks being cut as a result of the interstate construction. We are re-evaluting our network providers to increase our redundancy to make sure this type of event is less likely to occur in the future. Many parts of the network were unavailable from 11AM to 8:30PM on Saturday.

  Avolutia, LLC dba Shelby Broadband, a provider of Internet Services in Kentucky announces the acquisition of the Wireless Internet Services from Speedbeam Wireless, Inc., a Lexington based Internet Service Provider.
